Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia
Job Details:
Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients
Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure
Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures
Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process
Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)
Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards
32-40 hours per week with shifts of 8 or 10 hours; must have availability on either Monday or Friday every week
No on-call duties required (strictly scheduled shifts)
Level II Trauma Center setting with a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases
Work alongside a team across multiple operating rooms with rotating assignments based on need
Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed
Board Certified CRNA with active Michigan license required
Minimum of 1 year CRNA experience required
ACLS, BLS (AHA), and PALS certifications required
