CRNA Opportunity - Exclusive Children's Hospital Schedule: 8 or 10-hour shifts (Friday availability required) Weekly Requirement: Minimum 2 weeks/month availability Call: No in-house call currently required (must be willing to pick up home call if needed) Setting: Care team model Start Date: As soon as credentialed Credentialing Timeframe: ~60 days Travel Only: No local candidates within 60 miles Case Mix - Broad pediatric and adult coverage, including: General anesthesia Adult ortho, GYN/ONC, urology, complex spine, ophthalmology, plastics, ECT Pediatric cases including: Cath lab ENT General surgery Urology BMT Oculoplastics Donor care unit coverage required Patient Age Range: 0–99 Peds Exposure: Variable daily (may range from no peds to full pediatric room) Pediatric Requirements Must have pediatric experience within the last 6 months Comfortable managing basic pediatric cases and adult cases Complex pediatrics requirement has been relaxed; strong comfort with basic peds is acceptable Preferred experience with children ages 1–6 years Must be comfortable with ASA 3 pediatric populations across: Prematurity–newborn Newborn–1 year 1–3 years 4–6 years Requirements Minimum 1–2 years CRNA experience required Certifications required: ACLS, PALS Active CRNA/APRN license required (licensure candidates accepted) Must be comfortable with full-service OR anesthesia in mixed adult/peds environment Work Expectations not exceed 40 hours/week Must have at least 2 weeks/month availability Strong volume: approximately 30–40 cases/day 1–8 cases/day Travel & Reimbursement Guidelines Airfare: up to $800 roundtrip Hotel: up to $200/night Rental car: economy/full size up to $70/day Mileage reimbursement: standard federal rate All receipts required and must be submitted via ShiftWise Any travel exceeding limits requires prior approval Screening Questions (Must Answer YES to All) Do you have experience with pediatric surgeries including general, neuro, ENT, MRI, ophthalmology, GI, and ortho cases? Do you have pediatric experience within the last 6 months? Are you comfortable working both pediatric (including complex medical history cases) and adult patients?
