Shift types and hours: Monday – Friday, 8 hour min, open to 10s
Call requirements: looking for CRNA's OPEN to taking call. Could be: 1 or 2 nights a week and some weekend call on rotation.
Cases: Ortho, peds (not complicated), ENT, rate trauma/transport. Occasional pacemaker. No cardiac, no neuro, no vascular. Well established ortho practice in town, so plenty of regional anesthesia. Epidurals for deliveries.
Patient age range: Peds - Adults
Support staff: 4 anesthesiologists and 7 CRNA’s make up this team
Number of beds or ORs: 90 bed facility with 4 OR’s, an endo suite and an OB suite
Anesthesiologists do a combination of supervision and running their own room, CRNA must be comfortable placing their own labor epidurals
90% Supervision, 10% MD running rooms
Compensation:
Weekly hourly rate: $240
OT hourly rate: $255 OT is rounded to the nearest 15 mins. OT is after guaranteed shift hours.
Weekday Call: $400 to carry beeper M-F for first call
Call back rate: $255 per hour, hospital does NOT have a call back minimum,
Weekend call: $1,800 for 24 hours, includes 2 hours of call backs, any callbacks after the first 2 hours will be at $255 per hour
$35.00/day for a daily meal per diem when on assignment
Lodging will be provided – hotel set up as direct bill or stipend with approval
Full expenses reimbursed- mileage, flight, rental car with receipts. (upgrades, luxury cars, etc. not approved)
Daily travel to and from hospital will not be reimbursed
Malpractice insurance provided
