Palm Health Resources – Locum CRNA Opportunity
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Palm Health Resources is actively recruiting Locum CRNAs for a large tertiary medical center in Oklahoma City. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-volume anesthesia program offering broad surgical exposure, strong team support, and long-term assignment stability.
This assignment is ideal for CRNAs seeking consistent scheduling, complex but manageable case variety, and a structured care-team environment with no call responsibilities.
Assignment Overview
• Start: ASAP (credentialing ~90–120 days)
• Duration: Initial 6-month assignment with strong extension potential
• Schedule Options:
4x10s
5x10s
4x12s
5x12s
• Preferred Commitment:
4 shifts/week minimum
Full-time candidates preferred (4 weeks/month)
• Weekend Shifts Available:
Saturday/Sunday | 7a–3p
• Call: ❌ None
• EMR: Epic
• Practice Model: Medical Direction (1:4 Anesthesiologist)
Facility & OR Environment
Large, high-volume surgical environment including:
• 30+ operating rooms
• Interventional radiology suites
• GI suites
• EP and cath lab coverage
• MRI anesthesia
• Same-day surgery ORs
Strong anesthesia support structure with:
• Large CRNA team
• Dedicated anesthesiologist coverage
• Additional anesthesia support staff throughout perioperative services
Clinical Scope
Broad surgical exposure including:
• Orthopedics
• General Surgery
• Robotics
• Urology
• GYN
• ENT
• Neuro-spine
• GI
Additional Notes:
• No cardiac assignments
• No OB assignments
• No routine pediatric assignments
• Trauma cases generally excluded from locum coverage
• Limited cranial neuro exposure
CRNAs are expected to:
• Place arterial lines
• Manage anesthetic care independently within care-team model
CRNAs are NOT expected to:
• Perform regional blocks
Daily Workflow
• High daily OR volume
• Average provider assignment: ~3–4 cases/day depending on room
• In-room start times: ~7:00a–7:30a
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient surgical cases
Compensation
• Highly competitive all-inclusive compensation
• Rates negotiable based on availability, schedule flexibility, and commitment
• Weekend shifts compensated at same weekday rate structure
Requirements
• Board Certified CRNA
• Oklahoma licensure preferred
• DEA required prior to start
• Experience in high-volume OR environments preferred
Credentialing & Onboarding
• Credentialing timeline: ~90–120 days
• No temporary/emergency privileges available
• Faster processing possible for candidates already holding Oklahoma licensure and prescriptive authority
