Job Description
A facility in IL is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 12-week locum assignment with an immediate start available. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative anesthesia team in a well-supported clinical environment.
Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 weeks
Openings: 1
Privileging Timeframe: ~60 days
Case Types: General, Orthopedic, OB
Shift: 8-hour shifts (regular hours required)
Call: No call (no in-house, weeknight, or weekend pager call)
Overtime: Not expected, but available
Practice Setting
Charting Systems: Epic & iPro
Anesthesia Rooms: 20
Care Team Model:
MDs supervise CRNAs (2:1 ratio)
MDs also perform their own cases
Responsibilities
Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
Obtain and verify patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitor patient physiological status
Perform clinical interventions as needed
Requirements
Active RN license (must already be licensed in the state; no licensing assistance provided)
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Travel & Housing
Car Rental/Mileage Stipend: $250/week
Lodging/Housing Stipend: $150/day
