Candidates must be available for assigned weeks as listed below. This is a low-acuity, highly desirable outpatient-style environment with a very light call burden. Confirmed Coverage Weeks: • June 8–12 (7a–5p) • June 29–July 3 (7a–5p, call preferred) • August 10–14 (call preferred) + weekend call August 15–16 • August 17–21 • August 31–September 4 • September 7–11 • September 21–25 • September 28–October 2 Practice Details: • General, Orthopedic, and Urology cases • Regional anesthesia proficiency required • MD independent practice model (no CRNA supervision requirement noted) • Epic EMR • 4 anesthesia rooms • Very low-acuity setting with minimal emergencies Schedule: • 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) • No standard call required (light pager call only, optional for some blocks) • Weekend call only for select coverage periods • Cases frequently finish early • Extremely light call volume (historically minimal after-hours activity) Additional Details: • 90-day credentialing timeframe • Open to candidates needing Virginia licensure • Travel assistance, lodging support, and malpractice coverage included • Highly flexible summer block scheduling Requirements: • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) • Completion of accredited nurse anesthesia program • NBCRNA certification required • Regional anesthesia proficiency required This is an excellent opportunity for CRNAs seeking a low-stress summer locums schedule with strong autonomy, predictable hours, and minimal call burden in coastal Virginia.
