About the Practice:
An established private anesthesia practice in the Bakersfield, California area is seeking motivated CRNAs for a full-time position. The group provides autonomous anesthesia care for a range of B&B surgical cases in a focused and efficient setting.
Opportunity:
A full-time CRNA job opening is available, covering a variety of B&B cases. Obstetrics (OB) is negotiable. OB and OR call are combined and taken from home once every two (2) weeks. Shifts of 10, 12, and 14 hours are available. OB volume averages 25–30 deliveries per month. SRNAs nearing graduation are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
Administer and manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical and obstetrical procedures (OB negotiable).
Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Provide safe and effective emergence and post-anesthesia care.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Participate in a home call schedule once every two (2) weeks, covering both OB and OR.
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in California (or eligibility for licensure).
Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or eligibility to sit for the certification exam (for SRNAs).
Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical and potentially obstetrical cases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Compensation and Benefits:
Annual Compensation: $450,000- $480,00 on a 1099 basis.
Vacation: Four (4) weeks paid time off.
Call Schedule: Home call once every two (2) weeks (OB and OR combined).
Shift Options: 10, 12, and 14-hour shifts available.
