About the Practice:
A well-established and respected anesthesia group in a family-friendly area of central Pennsylvania, specifically in the State College region, is seeking a dedicated CRNA to join the team. Part time & full time positions available. The group provides high-quality anesthesia services across a broad range of B&B surgical specialties in a supportive environment.
Opportunity:
There is an immediate full-time CRNA opening covering a variety of cases including OB (approximately 1,500 deliveries annually), healthy pediatrics, orthopedics, urology, ENT, GI, and outpatient surgery. Flexible schedule options are available, offering 5 (8-hour shifts), 4 (10-hour shifts), or 6 (24-hour shifts) per month. Call is in-house with no additional call responsibilities. Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
Administer and manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical and obstetrical procedures.
Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Provide safe and effective emergence and post-anesthesia care.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Participate in an in-house call schedule as part of your regular shifts (no additional call beyond scheduled shifts).
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania (or eligibility for licensure).
Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or eligibility to sit for the certification exam (for SRNAs).
Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage anesthesia for the specified range of surgical and obstetrical cases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Compensation and Benefits:
Annual Salary: $250,000 (commensurate with experience and chosen schedule).
