About the Practice:
A well-established and respected private anesthesia practice with locations in both coastal and central Connecticut is seeking motivated CRNAs for full-time and locums positions. This practice delivers high-quality anesthesia care across a wide range of B&B surgical specialties in a professional and collaborative setting.
Opportunity:
Immediate full-time and locums CRNA job openings are available, covering a broad case mix including obstetrics (OB), vascular surgery, pediatrics, regional anesthesia, orthopedics, and outpatient surgery. Regional anesthesia skills are a significant plus. Positions are available with or without call, along with opportunities for night shifts and weekend coverage. Applications from Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) nearing graduation are welcome.
Responsibilities:
Administer and manage anesthesia for a diverse range of surgical and obstetrical procedures.
Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Provide safe and effective emergence and post-anesthesia care.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Participate in a call schedule (for call positions).
Provide night and/or weekend coverage (if desired).
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Connecticut (or eligibility for licensure).
Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or eligibility to sit for the certification exam (for SRNAs).
Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage anesthesia for the specified range of surgical and obstetrical cases.
Proficiency in regional anesthesia techniques is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Compensation and Benefits:
Full-Time:
Annual Salary: $200,000+ (commensurate with experience and call/shift responsibilities).

Locums:
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (negotiable based on experience and shift).
