About the Practice:
A well-established and respected private anesthesia practice in the Fresno area, located in the heart of California's Central Valley, is seeking a dedicated CRNA to focus exclusively on providing anesthesia services for gastrointestinal (GI) procedures. The practice is committed to high-quality patient care in an efficient outpatient setting.
Opportunity:
There is an immediate full-time CRNA job opening dedicated to GI cases, Monday through Friday. Flexible shift options are available, including both 8-hour and 10-hour shifts. Applications from Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) nearing graduation are enthusiastically welcomed. Locums positions are also available.
Responsibilities:
Independently administer and manage anesthesia for a variety of gastrointestinal (GI) procedures.
Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Provide safe and effective emergence and post-anesthesia care.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Collaborate effectively with gastroenterologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in California (or eligibility for licensure).
Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or eligibility to sit for the certification exam (for SRNAs).
Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage anesthesia for GI procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in an efficient outpatient setting.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Compensation and Benefits:
Full-Time:
Annual Compensation: $450,000 on a 1099 basis.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, with 8-hour and 10-hour shift options.
Locums:
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (negotiable based on experience).
Schedule: Flexible locums scheduling available, focused on GI cases.
