About the Practice:
A well-established and respected private anesthesia practice in the Fresno CA area, located in the heart of California's Central Valley, is seeking skilled CRNAs for full-time positions. The group provides anesthesia services across a variety of surgical specialties in a collaborative and supportive environment, with a focus on B&B cases and general surgery.
Opportunity:
Immediate full-time CRNA job openings are available for B&B cases and general surgery. No heart or head cases are involved. Obstetrics (OB) is negotiable. Call and no-call positions are offered. The home call schedule is 1:6. Flexible shift options are available, including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. Applications are welcome from Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs). Locum positions are also available for GI-only cases.
Responsibilities:
Administer and manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including general surgery and B&B cases (OB negotiable).
Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Provide safe and effective emergence and post-anesthesia care.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Participate in a home call schedule of 1:6 (for call positions).
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in California (or eligibility for licensure).
Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or eligibility to sit for the certification exam (for SRNAs).
Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage anesthesia for the specified range of surgical cases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Compensation and Benefits:
Full-Time:
Compensation: $450,000 - $480,000 annually on a 1099 basis.
Schedule: Flexible shift options available (8, 10, and 12-hour shifts). Call and no-call positions available.
Locums (GI Only):
Compensation: $195 per hour.
Schedule: Flexible locum scheduling available, focused on GI cases.
