Opportunity:
Join a well-established and reputable private practice in western Ohio as a valued member of a dedicated anesthesia team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) interested in providing anesthesia services across a diverse range of cases, including obstetrics (OB), pediatrics, vascular surgery, trauma, and outpatient procedures. It's an excellent chance to expand clinical skills in a supportive and experienced environment. Applications are welcome from both experienced CRNAs and Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) nearing graduation.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and obstetrical procedures. There’s also peds, vascular, trauma & outpatient surgery cases.
Take calls approximately every 6th or 7th night.
Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Administer and maintain anesthesia utilizing a variety of techniques and agents.
Continuously monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical conditions.
Manage emergence from anesthesia and provide appropriate post-anesthesia care.
Respond effectively to medical emergencies.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with practice policies and procedures.
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio (or eligibility for licensure).
Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) 1 or eligibility to sit for the certification exam (for SRNAs).
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a diverse patient population and case mix.
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: $250,000 per year.
