## Locum CRNA Opportunity – Newport News, VA
Site: Bon Secours Mary Immaculate
Location: Newport News, Virginia
Position Type: Locum CRNA
Openings: 12
Assignment Length: 12 Weeks
⏳ Privileging Timeframe: Approximately 30 Days
⚡ Temporary privileges available within 30–60 days
### Position Highlights
* New site opening with multiple openings available
* General, Neuro, Ortho, OB, Urology, GYN, Ophthalmology, and Endoscopy cases
* Day shifts required
* 8-hour shifts preferred
* Overtime available but not expected
* In-house call and holiday coverage preferred
* Epic EMR
* 10 anesthesia rooms
* MD supervision model with a 1:4 MD-to-CRNA ratio
* MDs perform some cases, though solo MD cases are rare
### Candidate Requirements
* Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience required
* New graduates will not be considered
* Current RN license
* Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
* Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
* Candidates needing a Virginia license are welcome to apply
### Responsibilities
* Perform pre-anesthesia assessments
* Obtain and verify patient consent
* Discuss anesthesia options and risks with patients
* Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
* Monitor patient physiological status throughout procedures
* Provide clinical interventions as necessary
### Travel & Lodging Support
* Lodging stipend provided
* Weekly car rental/mileage reimbursement available
