Description The Raleigh Orthopedic Surgery Center is located on the ground floor of the four-story Raleigh Orthopedic Clinic office building located at 3001 Edwards Mill Road, between Duraleigh Road and Wade Avenue in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Raleigh Orthopedic Surgery Center is the largest, most modern outpatient orthopedic facility in Eastern North Carolina. Case Assignments: Sports Medicine, Total joints (Hips, Knees, Shoulders), foot/Ankle/Hand/Wrist/Elbow cases, Small Back cases and occasional Pediatrics. Shifts: Flexible Shifts options Monday-Friday. Regional anesthesia is frequently used and provided by our anesthesiologist staff. Our anesthesia group ranks highest in patient satisfaction and surgeon satisfaction. Responsibilities -Pre-anesthesia assessment -Obtains and/or verifies patient consent -Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient -Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia -Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition -Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements -Current license as a registered professional nurse -Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education -Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists Lifestyle: Raleigh, NC: Located in the center of the state, Raleigh is close to Cary, Durham, and Chapel Hill, NC and is considered part of the "Triangle."
