Description We provide anesthesia services at the Surgical Center of Morehead City and work in a care team model and offer a friendly, professional work environment. We are seeking a full-time CRNA to join our growing group practice Awards Accreditation by the Ambulatory Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) Case Assignments: Orthopedic, general surgery, endoscopy, urology, ophthalmology and podiatry cases Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm, flexible schedule No call, no weekends, no holidays Team Leadership: Kristin Gray, Chief Anesthetist Team Highlights This care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence. Responsibilities -Pre-anesthesia assessment -Obtains and/or verifies patient consent -Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient -Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia -Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition -Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements -Current license as a registered professional nurse -Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education -Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists Lifestyle Morehead City, NC: Morehead City, located on the coast of North Carolina, enjoys a temperate climate and has ready access to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world!
