About the Practice:
A well-established and thriving private practice group located in Brooklyn, within close proximity to New York City, is seeking skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for locums (Fridays & Sundays) & full-time opportunities. This specialized group is committed to providing exceptional anesthesia services for a high volume of both ophthalmology and gastrointestinal (GI) cases within its modern outpatient facilities, emphasizing patient safety and comfort.
Opportunity:
This is an excellent full-time opportunity for a CRNA to specialize in anesthesia for both ophthalmology and gastrointestinal surgical procedures. A key aspect of this role is that no eye blocks are required, streamlining the daily workflow. The position offers a consistent and focused workload within these two high-volume specialties. This is an ideal role for a CRNA seeking expertise in these areas within a dynamic urban setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide and manage anesthesia for a variety of ophthalmic and gastrointestinal surgical procedures.
Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic patient assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans.
Administer and monitor anesthesia safely and effectively, ensuring patient comfort and stability throughout procedures.
Manage patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Adhere to all practice protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate effectively with ophthalmologists, gastroenterologists, and other surgical team members.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia.
Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
Valid and unrestricted New York RN license (or eligible for licensure).
Strong clinical skills in providing anesthesia for both ophthalmology and gastrointestinal procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits:
The group is offering $200 per hour for locums with an (8) hour guarantee.
Offers $280K for full-time position.
