Busy Level III trauma center offering about half of the cases being general or ortho, and the remaining cases ENT, podiatry, OB and other adult specialty. Approximately 925 births annually. CRNAs have a great deal of autonomy here. Highlights of this Assignment: • 184 bed facility. 9 ORs. • Anesthesia department consists of 4 anesthesiologists and 16 CRNAs when fully staffed. This is a Care Team model with a lot of autonomy for the CRNA's. • CRNAs place spinals, epidurals, and other regional anesthesia. * Facility would like experienced CRNA's with these skills since they are very short staffed. • 40 hours per week. You may be on 8 or 10 hour shifts guaranteed, depending on needs. • Locum CRNA may be asked to take call. If you are on an extended assignment, you may have some weekend coverage as well. • EPIC Charting System • Credentialing here takes a min of 60-90 days. • Assignment length: Open ended until hospital is fully staffed but looking at those that commit at least 6 months is ideal.
