Locums CRNA - NY Full-time 10 hr Shifts; No-call Supervised setting

LOCUM TENENS CRNA OPPORTUNITY IN NEW YORK JOB DETAILS: - Location: New York - Specialty: Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Start Date: June 2026 - Duration: June and July coverage, with the possibility of sporadic coverage thereafter. (Locum, locum-to-perm, and permanent candidates will all be considered). - Schedule: Full-time (1-2 FTEs needed). 10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30). - Call/Weekends: No call required. (Facility has dedicated in-house staff for evenings, nights, and weekends). - Overtime: Overtime is paid after the scheduled shift ends (after 17:30 daily), rather than after 40 hours worked. CLINICAL SCOPE: - Practice Setting: Hospital Operating Rooms, Endoscopy Unit, Cardiac Lab, and Ambulatory Surgery Center - Facility Size: 15 Main ORs, 4 ASC rooms - Trauma Level: Level 2 Trauma - Medical Direction Model: Supervised setting (1:4 ratio generally; 1:2 ratio for cardiac), but CRNAs must be able to function independently as the MD is not always in the room. - Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric, and ages 16+ - Support Staff: Scrub techs, RN circulators, and Anesthesia techs are on staff - Procedure Note: Blocks are not required - EMR: Epic REQUIREMENTS: - Board Status: NBCRNA Certification (Required) - Licensure: Active New York State License (Highly Preferred) - Background: A Self-Query NPDB report is required ADDITIONAL INFO: - Travel: Travel expenses are fully reimbursed.
