About the Practice:
A well-established private anesthesia practice in northern Virginia, conveniently located near Washington D.C., is seeking a dedicated CRNA for either a full time position with 5 (8s) or 4 (10s), 3 (12s) or (24) hour shift options or night time positions available!. (24) per month for primarily OB cases. The practice provides high-quality anesthesia services for a variety of B&B cases, including OB, pediatrics, orthopedics, ENT, regional anesthesia, and outpatient surgery.
Opportunity:
An immediate full-time CRNA job opening is available, offering a schedule of 5 (8s) or 4 (10s), 3 (12s) or (24) hour shift options for (6) shifts per month. Applications from Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) nearing graduation are enthusiastically welcomed.
Responsibilities:
Administer and manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including OB, pediatrics, orthopedics, ENT, regional, and outpatient cases.
Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Provide safe and effective emergence and post-anesthesia care.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia (or eligibility for licensure).
Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or eligibility to sit for the certification exam (for SRNAs).
Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage anesthesia for the specified range of surgical cases.
Experience with regional anesthesia techniques is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Compensation and Benefits:
Annual Salary: $250,000+ for full time position (commensurate with experience).
For 6 (24) hour shifts per month, offers $325K annually.
Sign-On Bonus: $90,000.
Malpractice insurance coverage provided.
