Job Description
The Anesthesia Group of Albany (AGA) is the largest anesthesia group in the Capital District of Upstate New York. The physicians and CRNAs of AGA have been providing anesthesia services to 1 of the 2 large hospital centers in Albany, and a variety of ambulatory surgery facilities in the area for over 50 years. We offer a full scope of anesthesia services including Cardiac and Vascular. GI, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Cosmetic Surgery, and obstetrics. AGA also provides services to several orthopedic ambulatory surgery centers, and an Endoscopy Center.
Your day can consist of hospital-based practice, ambulatory based practice, or a combination of both depending on your preference and skill set. All anesthetics are performed under direct Anesthesiologist supervision who is available at all times. The overnight portion of the call shift will be at the hospital in Albany, NY. Call shifts during the week are until 10PM, call shifts on weekend days are 24 hours and only are for emergency cases.
We are experiencing an expansion of services at both our hospital center and ambulatory and endoscopy facilities and are looking for motivated individuals to join our team of anesthesia providers.
The above minimum salary is for an experienced Non Call CRNA working 40 hours a week.
The above maximum is an in Call Taking CRNA who works 50 hours a week with overtime hours above the base weekly 40 hours paid at 200% of the hourly rate and is on a 1:8 call schedule.
