Pensacola: A mid-sized coastal community on the Gulf of Mexico on Florida's Emerald Coast, Pensacola boasts some of the world's best beaches with sugar-white sand and emerald-green water. We have over 450 years of history, a bustling community, and a vibrant downtown. It is home to NAS Pensacola, the US Navy's Blue Angels, the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (AA affiliate of the Florida Marlins), the University of West Florida, and the busiest airport in Florida's Panhandle, offering direct flights to over 17 cities. Excellent public and private school options are available in Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, and Pensacola Beach. All areas are within a quick and easy drive to the hospital.
Having over 450 years of history, Pensacola has a rich cultural history, a bustling community, and a vibrant downtown. Pensacola has a fantastic inshore and offshore recreational fishery. Fishermen pull grouper and red snapper from the deeper Gulf waters while inshore speckled trout and redfish.
Pensacola Beach was voted No. 1 best beach in Florida by USA Today's 10 Best Readers' Choice, and Pensacola ranks No. 15 in 2019 U.S. News and World Report's top 25 most desirable places to live in the United States.
