We are a qualified employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)!
Compensation will be comprised of base salary, a Level 1 Academic Medical Center (AMC) pay differential, and variable pay for call and additional hours worked. The base salary and Level 1 AMC Differential are based on market data and years of experience.
Base Salary: $225,000 - $253,575
Annual Base Plus Level 1 AMC Pay Differential: $235,000 - $290,000
Base and Level 1 AMC Pay Differential based on market data & years of experience - not inclusive of variable call/incentive pay, which is paid separately
Sign-On Bonus: $30,000
Relocation Incentive: $10,000 if moving from outside of the Greater Denver Metro Area
Variable Pay:
Pager Rate: $300/Call Shift
Hours Worked: $200/hr
Paid Time Off:
- 8+ weeks of Paid Leave/year (starting first year of employment) including:
- 22 days of vacation (rolls over annually up to 44 days/year)
- 5 Continuing Medical Education Days
- 14 paid holidays
- Additionally, receive 15 days of paid sick leave/year (rolls over annually)
Parental Leave:
- 6 Paid Weeks of parental leave, available to take anytime within a year of birth, adoption, and/or foster placement
- Up to 6 months of protected leave granted for birth, adoption, and/or foster placement
Retirement:
- 5% employee contribution; 10% employer match
- Additional voluntary retirement plan options (403(b), 401k, 457, & Roth options)
- Immediate vesting
Travel, Education, & Development Funds:
- $3,500 funded by Department annually that can be utilized for approved conferences and continuing education
- Can elect to contribute additional funds
- Balances roll-over each year
Department-Paid Dues & Memberships:
- State License and License Renewal reimbursable
- NBCRNA recertification fees reimbursable
- BLS/ACLS/PALS Paid by Department
- Paid Memberships include AANA/COANA & AAAA/COAAA
Malpractice:
- Occurrence-based malpractice insurance at no cost to the employee
Insurance Benefits:
- Medical plans starting at $0 (Family plans starting at $39)
- Fertility benefits: lifetime maximum of up to 3 cycles toward eligible fertility treatment and medication expenses

Weekly grand rounds count towards annual CE credits

Primary location in Aurora, CO at University of Colorado Hospital on the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus offering a wide range of case experience and teams including Obstetrics, Orthopedics, Cardiac, GI, and more. Faculty appointments are primarily clinical with any potential teaching limited to SRNA and SAA students.
