Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Administer MAC anesthesia for interventional pain management procedures (e.g., epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations).
Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, including reviewing patient history, medications, and allergies.
Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans in collaboration with the physician.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and sedation levels throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
Manage airway support and respond promptly to any changes in patient condition.
Provide post-anesthesia care, including recovery monitoring and discharge readiness.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain current knowledge of best practices in anesthesia and pain management.
Qualifications
Current CRNA certification and licensure in [State].
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in as Solo Practitioner in anesthesia; experience in pain management or outpatient settings preferred.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, and anesthesia techniques for MAC.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
