A large federal medical center in Houston, TX is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for weekend and holiday call coverage. This is a long-term locums opportunity supporting a diverse patient population with a broad case mix.

Weekend & Holiday Call Coverage Only
Facility operates 24/7
Shifts may include 8, 10, or 12-hour tours, based on department needs:
8-hour tours:
0645–1515
1100–1930
10-hour tours:
0645–1715
1100–2130
12-hour tours:
0645–1915
Contractor may be required to stay beyond scheduled hours depending on caseload.
Clinical Responsibilities
CRNAs will provide full anesthesia services including:
Pre-anesthetic evaluations and care planning
Administration of general, regional, IV, and local anesthesia
Intraoperative anesthetic management and monitoring
Post-anesthesia recovery management and pain control
Emergency airway/resuscitation response (Code Blue team)
Case mix includes: regional anesthesia, orthopedics, GI, GYN, and pain services.
Requirements
Active CRNA certification
BLS + ACLS (AHA required)
Board certified/eligible per federal facility standards
Any active unrestricted state license accepted
No DEA required
Credentialing / Compliance
Credentialing timeframe: 45–60 days
COVID-19 vaccination required per federal directive (accommodations as applicable)
