CRNA Locums Opportunity – Texas A hospital-based surgical program in Texas is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers a collaborative care team model, a diverse surgical case mix, and consistent weekday scheduling. The facility is expanding services and transitioning into a day surgery center, creating a strong ongoing need for anesthesia coverage. Position Details Location: Texas Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: Ongoing through 2026 Schedule: Monday – Friday Shift Options: 10 or 12 hour shifts Typical Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Minimum Availability: Providers must be available at least 2 weeks per month Call Weeknight call required Maximum 2 calls per night of call Practice Environment Collaborative care team anesthesia model Friendly, supportive clinical environment Growing surgical program Case Mix CRNAs will see a variety of bread-and-butter cases including: Orthopedics General surgery ENT Plastics Gynecology Pediatrics (No obstetrics) Patient Volume Approximately 10 patients per day Technology EMR: Cerner Requirements Board Certified CRNA Active Texas License BLS certification Must be willing to travel (local candidates not accepted) Credentialing 60–90 days Temporary privileges available Travel Travel arrangements provided including: Hotel accommodations Round-trip airfare Rental car Mileage reimbursement Travel must be coordinated through the agency travel team.
