About the Facilities:   Jefferson Memorial Hospital serves Lakeway area residents combining technology and a caring, East Tennessee spirit. The hospital's Jefferson City campus was opened in 2001, and the facility underwent a major construction project in 2011 that included renovation and expansion of the emergency room, a new intensive care unit and enhancements to waiting and registration areas. Jefferson Memorial Hospital offers quality patient care with: Advanced technology and equipment Doctors trained in specialty areas such as pulmonology, orthopedics and cardiology Extensive outpatient surgery capabilities and diagnostic testing Volunteer Surgery Center came to light in the spring of 2019. It was determined that a new resource for outpatient surgery in west Hamblen County was needed. Ground breaking took place in June 2020, and, as with many projects taking place during a pandemic, the undertaking of this enormous endeavor presented some unique challenges. In February, 2022, the efforts of numerous people resulted in the opening of this much anticipated, 12,000 square foot, state of the art surgery center. We are very excited to invite our community to utilize this valuable resource that is close to home. We offer an opportunity to experience the latest in surgical technology for many of the most common procedures that many people require during their lifetime. We strive to make your visit comfortable and life enhancing. utilizies a variety of surgeons in east Tennessee, including both the Lakeway area and Knoxville. Case Mix: General, Ortho, ENT, Peds Schedule: Monday- Friday 7a-3p. Call rotation 1:5.    Benefits:   CME Reimbursement    7 Weeks PTO Health, Dental, Vision premiums 100% covered for employee   401k     Relocation Assistance   CRNA Only Model Professional Liability will be covered by LifeLinc.       Responsibilities      Administrative Duties:    The CRNA must function as a collaborator and team member to accomplish applicable goals and functions of LifeLinc.    Develop standards for continuity of care and case management.    Remains cognizant of rules and regulation as they pertain to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and remains compliant at a local, state, and federal level.         Clinical Duties:    The CRNA scope of practice includes, but is not limited to, the following:    Performing and timely and accurately documenting a pre-anesthetic assessments and patient evaluations, including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, or administering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids; and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia.    The day-to-day responsibility of the CRNA for this position will be to provide professional anesthesia services to patients in accordance with the standard of care and state and federal laws and may include any of all of the following:    Managing a patient's airway.    Managing emergence and recovery from anesthesia.    Releasing or discharging patients from a post-anesthesia care area, and providing post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care related to anesthesia side effects or complications.    Responding to emergency situations by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques.    Additional nurse anesthesia responsibilities which are within the expertise of the individual CRNA.       Communication:   Attends meetings as needed    Works with peers to obtain required information on a timely basis and to solve outstanding issues, as appropriate.    Promotes and contributes positively to the teamwork of the department by assisting coworkers, contributing ideas and problem-solving with co-workers.       Additional Qualifications:    ACLS/BLS/PALS certification      Why LifeLinc?     LifeLinc Anesthesia has emerged as one of the top comprehensive anesthesia management providers in the country.
