Position Details:
Title: CRNA
Type: Locums
Shifts: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts; 7:00 AM start times (ending 3:30 PM, 5:30 PM, or 7:30 PM depending on shift length); no call required
Location: Near Cumberland, MD
Facility Type: Inpatient (hospital)
Certification: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA); Certification through AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists required
Experience: 6+ months
What to Expect:
Care team model with MD supervision; 4:1 CRNA to MD ratio with no solo MD cases
General case mix across multiple anesthesia rooms
No in-house or pager call requirements, allowing for predictable scheduling
Full shift adherence expected, with providers working the entirety of scheduled hours (excluding unpaid breaks)
Use of EPIC EMR system for charting
Opportunity for expedited credentialing with a relatively quick onboarding timeline
Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessments, patient consent, anesthetic planning, induction and maintenance of anesthesia, monitoring, and clinical interventions as needed
